Ready for liftoff event branding
Calendly holds its annual company kickoff every year in Q1. In 2023, the kickoff event was held in Palm Springs, California. The brand + creative team was tasked with developing a concept and theme as well as building out all assets and deliverables for the event. We leaned into the theme of space exploration, innovation, and traveling into the unknown to align with kicking off 2023. Ready for Liftoff was born.
Video storyboard
As part of the kickoff event, the creative team was tasked with developing the storyboard for an accomplishments video which would highlight all of the biggest achievements Calendly made that year. Myself and another designer on the team worked together to develop all of the designs for this storyboard. We also collaborated closely with with the Principle Video Producer at Calendly. She wrote the script and handed it off to us to create all the frames. Note: All of the current information/numbers are placeholder text (actual numbers were added into the video which was for internal viewing only).
As part of the merch for the event, we designed various space-themed patches where employees could choose which ones they wanted for a bomber jacket. This harked back to the space theme we developed for the entire event.
