Webinar Paid Ads Redesign
In spring of 2023, the brand and creative team partnered with the paid ads team in order to revamp our webinar ads. They wanted to see if changing up our designs would lead to an increase in performance. The brief left us with a lot of creative freedom since we’d be gathering data on how the new designs performed.
The process
We first met as a team to discuss things we wanted to change that he hypothesized could lead to better performance. We decided we wanted to try enlarging speaker headshots and find a way to better highlight the “webinar” signifier. Next, we gathered inspiration/ads from other organizations that we thought worked well. From there, the creative team iterated on a some potential options for our new ads.
Once we developed style guidance for illustrations, we moved onto sourcing illustrators who we felt would adapt to our style well while still bringing their own touch.
